Construction traffic to temporarily access site from Ann Suckling Road from June 2nd until June 30th

As agreed with Suffolk County Council Highways and West Suffolk Council, construction traffic will temporarily access site via Ann Suckling Road from June 2nd until June 30th while final surfacing and remedial works are carried out to ensure a timely opening of the Relief Road. Use of Ann Suckling Road will ensure that both Relief Road and Farrant Road remedial works can be completed to reduce the impact on residents as much as possible.

Final stages of the relief road construction- Culverts installed on western end

As shown in the above images taken in April 2025, the culverts have been lowered into on the western end of the Relief Road. These culverts will allow for the drainage of surface water.

Roadworks on Farrant Road commencing 7th April- Remedial works and resurfacing

Remedial works will be carried out along Farrant from 7th April for a duration of 8 weeks. During this period, there will be ‘road narrowing’ traffic control to provide a safe working environment for our operatives.

Once the remedial works are completed, final surfacing will be carried out. This will be completed in phases, with traffic diversions implemented to enter and exit Boyton Place via the road north of the site, as illustrated below.

We will endeavour to minimise the inconvenience and disruption that may occur.
